If I order the wrong boat can I return it?
We will make every effort to be sure you get the boat you need the first time, but it doesn't always work out. If you end up with a boat that won't work for you we offer an exchange program. If you return your boat in new condition we will give you full credit towards another boat. If your boat shows wear, dirt, or damage we will allow you a trade-in credit based on our assessment of your boats resale value. You will need tp pay the return shipping charges.
Which boat is right for me?
No boat is a universal boat. Deciding which boat to purchase can be a daunting task because of all the claims made by the many manufacturers in today’s market. We have extensive experience in both fishing and river running to help you make the right choice. If you can’t decide after reviewing the catalog descriptions feel free to contact us. We can best serve you with direct communication. We will do our best to help you get the right boat for your needs. How much will shipping and handling cost?
We offer 2 choices. Actual Cost – This option is available to credit card and debit card purchasers. Once we have packaged your order for shipment we will calculate the exact shipping charges and add them to your total purchase. Fixed Cost – This option is available to all customers. We estimate the cost of each item based on published rates from your preferred shipper and ship your items for that fixed cost. This means that you usually pay more than the actual cost due to not getting multiple item discounts from combined packaging. It does guarantee that your shipment won’t cost more than the fixed price per item that the Shopping Cart will calculate for you.
Please Note: Boats are bulky items and usually incur oversize shipping charges. Most cannot be shipped by UPS, Fed Ex, or the Post Office due to size limitations. Truck Freight is expensive, and often results in damage during transit. Our recommendation is to pick up your boat at our facility whenever possible. We also offer delivery to any area that we run our trucks for reasonable fees. Oars can usually be shipped by UPS or Fed Ex Ground.
How much Deposit do you require for Custom Boats?
Custom Boat orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the order with the balance due prior to shipping.
I have special needs. Can you build a boat to meet them?
Yes. We can build a boat to accommodate almost any need. Contact us to discuss the details of your specific needs.
Do you have a boat that will withstand salt water?
Any of our boats can be built with aluminum frames that are highly resistant to salt water corrosion. Most other components are already corrosion resistant.
Why don't you have a No-Fault Return Policy like some other companies?
Simple. We are a small company. In order to remain competitive we must control the high cost of returned merchandise. It is unfortunate that there are a few individuals out there who regard a no-fault return policy as a Free Rent program. They will purchase equipment, use it, abuse it, and return it in well used, dirty, and damaged condition, expecting a full refund. We believe that our honest customers should not have to pay extra for their gear to cover the cost of those bandits. Of course if you have a ligitimate problem we will do our best to take care of it to your satisfaction. |

| 10' Tuf-Cat With Custom Cedar Floor |

The basic TufCat Model 1-10 with a Custom Cedar Floor. Cedar floor boards are spaced with 1/2" gaps to drain water quickly but still allow a solid standing platform when you want to stretch your legs or cast to that favorite spot. The Standard TufCat "1-10" is a great all around boat for the fisherman and river runner. It is a stable and agile whitewater craft with lots of floatation to carry overnight trip gear. This packaage includes Sawyer composite whitewater oars, oarlocks and 2 gear bags.

The MiniMe by Hyside is the perfect 1 or 2 person raft for the RV'r. This quality Hypalon raft is self-bailing and rolls up to 12" x 24 " x 36" for compact storage. 9' long and 5' wide it weighs 42 lbs. Urethane coated on the bottom for extra long life. Combined with our custom break-down rowing frame the MiniMe makes a great fishing craft for rivers and lakes. Quick inflating with a 12 volt pump or a small double action hand pump.

This is an example of our custom design work. It has a modular frame system with a Rower module and a Passenger Module. The Rower module has a dry box under the seat and a cargo area behind, a motor mount, anchor system and a slide system for the rower seat to allow sliding to the side for morecomfortable motor operation. The Passenger module has a dry box with seat slides for one or two seats, a cooler rack, and passenger footwell area. Used together the boat works well for one to 3 person extended river trips with camping gear, Used alone the Rower module makes a great one man fishing and play boat for big whitewater.
